Original and translation
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ أَرَءَيْتَ ٱلَّذِى يُكَذِّبُ بِٱلدِّينِ
Hast thou observed him who belieth religion?
The อาหรับ (อุษมานี) edition prefixes the text of 1:1 to this verse (counted as a verse of its own only at 1:1) · อังกฤษ (Pickthall 1930) has none — left as they are
فَذَٰلِكَ ٱلَّذِى يَدُعُّ ٱلْيَتِيمَ
That is he who repelleth the orphan,
وَلَا يَحُضُّ عَلَىٰ طَعَامِ ٱلْمِسْكِينِ
And urgeth not the feeding of the needy.
فَوَيْلٌ لِّلْمُصَلِّينَ
Ah, woe unto worshippers
ٱلَّذِينَ هُمْ عَن صَلَاتِهِمْ سَاهُونَ
Who are heedless of their prayer;
ٱلَّذِينَ هُمْ يُرَآءُونَ
Who would be seen (at worship)
وَيَمْنَعُونَ ٱلْمَاعُونَ
Yet refuse small kindnesses!
