Build emotional regulation as a skill, not a personality trait

Emotional steadiness is a practiced capacity — not something you either have or do not have.

When emotions run the day, decisions get distorted and relationships strain. Regulation is not suppression — it is the ability to feel fully without being driven by the feeling.
